History

[edit]

Founded in 2011 in Chicago founder Greg Stallkamp, saw a lack of travel options between Chicago and Northern Michigan residents, this was the basis for Lakeshore Express in providing flight options from Northern Michigan and Chicago. Lakeshore Express currently operates flight via Pentastar Aviation out of the Stargate Terminal at Oakland County International Airport.[14] When the Saab-340 was first originally purchased it came with 36 seats but the airline removed 6 of those seats in order to make the seating more comfortable and spacious for passengers they also refurbished the aircraft specifically for the routes it will fly.[15]
