From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hunton Yachts is a British designer and manufacturer of luxury yachts originally started in 1979 as Hunton Powerboats by Jeff Hunton.

A successful offshore powerboat racer, Jeff Hunton entered the first of his eleven Cowes/Torquay/Cowes races in 1975. Jeff created Hunton Powerboats in 1979, to design and build genuine high-performance luxury yachts with luxurious accommodation. His first design, the Gazelle 23, won Cruiser Class A in the 1980 British Offshore Powerboat Championship. Jeff went on to win the title six times.

Today the boats achieve speeds up to 70 knots. All the boats, from the nimble XRS37 sports boat to the XRS43 and the soon to be launched Hunton 55, are hand-crafted to a luxury standard in Britain.
