Being born on 9 May 1987 in a respectable muslim family in Bangladesh, Syed Zahid Imtiaz was known as Shovon in his early days. He was born in the Rajshahi district and brought up in Dhaka, the Capital City of Bangladesh. His early early formal educational institutes were Bright Pre-Cadet School and Child Fair Pre-Cadet School. In the 1995, he was admitted in the reputed Dhaka Residential Model College situated in Mohammadpur, Dhaka. After spending four educational year in the traditional scholle and College, he was admitted in Rajshahi Cadet College, a military high school, run by the Bangaldesh Army, on behalf of the Government of Bangladesh (GoB).
