January 2023[edit]

  1. Draft:Minecraft: nominated at MfD; notified Qwv (talk · contribs) 18:43, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is largely identical to the mainspace Minecraft article. Any changes could easily be made to the article directly or proposed on its talk page. There's nothing significant to justify an entirely seperate draft page.
  2. Wikipedia:Mirrors and forks/All: nominated at MfD; notified JesseW (talk · contribs) 18:06, 16 January 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: The page is ridiculously long, enough to cause performance issues on lower-end devices, and will only get longer as new entries are added. It says this is intended for searching, but it could be replaced with a search box on the main Wikipedia:Mirrors and forks page and/or Template:Sitecompliance.
  3. Template:Sitecompliance: nominated at RM; New name: Wikipedia:Mirrors and forks/Sitecompliance 18:11, 16 January 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: The template is only used as a header for subpages of Wikipedia:Mirrors and forks, and would fit better in project space as its own subpage rather than template space.
  4. Template:Pokemonfanwikipedians: nominated at MfD; notified Iloveminun (talk · contribs) 04:50, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is just random text and a category that is apparently supposed to be a userbox (which is why I'm sending it to MfD rather than TfD), although it doesn't look like one. If all someone wants to do is describe themself as a Pokemon fan and add their user page to a category, they don't need a template for that.

February 2023[edit]

  1. Hypertext Transfer Protocol: nominated at RM; New name: HTTP 01:44, 9 February 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: The acronym, HTTP, as far more common than the full name, and should be the title per MOS:ACROTITLE. Related articles like HTML, XML, PHP, CSS, API (the list is too big to name them all) use acronyms. Even HTTPS uses an acronym, so it's weird that HTTP doesn't.
  2. User:HighwayCello/Minun: nominated at MfD; notified HighwayCello (talk · contribs) 21:07, 9 February 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: This reads as a "list of everything bad user:XXX did" page, per WP:ATP. A good chunk of it is subjective, and the parts that aren't would be more appropriate at other venues like the already existing RFCU page (now WP:SPI), WP:ANI or WP:RFC/U (which was active at the time). This is not the right way to deal with a disruptive editor, especially if they were new.
  3. Draft:Inanimate Insanity: nominated at MfD; notified HappyINC (talk · contribs) 00:04, 19 February 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Nominated on behalf of 118.149.76.35 (talk · contribs · WHOIS), who posted this on the MfD talk page: "Reason: Does not meet GNG, no RS or secondary coverage. Multiple declined submissions. It should be noted that the series is directly related to "Battle For Dream Island", another YouTube series of the same genre that has been repeatedly submitted and declined multiple times and now page-created, for the exact same reasons. 118.149.76.35 (talk) 00:00, 19 February 2023 (UTC)" Zerbu 💬 00:04, 19 February 2023 (UTC)
