Joachim Horsley is an American composer, pianist, and arranger. His VIA HAVANA videos, where he performs new arrangements blending great works of classical music with afro-carribbean rhythms, such as "Beethoven In Havana", has been viewed over 2 million views on Youtube[1]. In 2018, he performed to full houses with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center and with his band at the Folie Bergere in Paris, France.[2] In 2019, he performed live with his band at the Cosmo Jazz Festival at the Le Tour in Charamillon, France[3][4], and Tempo Latino Festival at ÉGLISE SAINT-PIERRE in Vic Fezensac, France.[5][6] His Via Havana EP is released on La Cafe with an upcoming full album release in February 2019[7][8].

Recently he has composed the original score for the Warner Brothers Animation's line of DC animated movie "Batman: Soul of the Dragon", Disney animated series “Big City Greens”, and the ABC TV series "The Baker and The Beauty". In addition to that, he composed the original score for 2018 feature films “2307: Winter’s Dream” and “Guys Reading Poems” (starring Patricia Velasquez). Other recent projects include arranging for Michael Bublé, John Legend's “All of Me” tour[10], and orchestrating Ben Folds' Piano Concerto[11]. Working with composer Anton Sanko, Horsley orchestrated and conducted the score for the films "Ouija", "The Possession"[12], and "Rabbit Hole"[9] (starring Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart), as well as the TV series "Great Migrations"[13] which aired on the National Geographic Channel and won a News and Documentary Emmy® for music and sound.[14][15][16]
