GOCE July 2010 backlog elimination drive chart Greetings from the Guild of Copy Editors Backlog Elimination Drive! We have now passed the halfway point, so here's an update. Progress Report - Progress toward the targets has been good. 751 articles out of the approximately 1,600 we would like to get completed by the end of the month were done by July 15, so we will be very close to meeting the target for volume. However, we would like to clear all of the 2008 articles from the backlog, and there are still 892 left to do. Please consider choosing one of these older articles when looking for something to copy edit. If we focus our firepower we can completely wipe out 2008 from the queue. Participation Report - 95 people signed up for the July drive. This is a great result compared to May, when we had 36. However, in May only one person that signed up didn't do any copy edits, and in July only 59 of the 95 have posted any copy edits on the big board. The task may seem insurmountable but please remember that if all 95 participants copy edit just one article a day from now until the end of the month, we will eliminate 1,300 more articles from the backlog. So please consider participating at whatever level you can! All contributions are appreciated. November copy edit drive

My Edit

We added this text in "TTYL" and "Talk To You Later" to let the world know that actor Tom Truong is very famous all overt the world for his TTYL lingo from Tom's Show. You can hear him say it at the end of each episode on Tom's Show. I don't know why your stupid bot keeps on deleting it every time our PR firm try to add that text to the "TTYL" and "Talk To You Later" pages.

I am not a bot, but I appreciate the compliment. There is no evidence that this "Tom Truong" is notable in any way. You have been adding items about this person to multiple articles from multiple IP addresses. If you can provide reliable third-party citations that this person is notable, then an article about him will be fine. Ha, this is still on my watched thing and I am too lazy to click the star. You should link them to this as well: WP:SPAM. @OP: Wiki is many things, but it's not a place for you advertise Tom Trueng/Truong/Truang or w/e his name is as you please. I have never heard of him either and upon doing a Google search I cannot find even one measily news article about him, much less one from a reputable source Google Search for this fellow. The article isn't for you to manipulate to how you want your client to be shone nor is it for any libelous material either. Info there should be from reputable and trustworthy third-party sources that talk about this guy from a neutral standpoint. I think you guys need a better PR firm and maybe some... what's word? Not that I considered it constructive, but I didn't realise that such prohibition applied to usertalk pages. O_O You cannot just chat on a usertalk page? TheArchaeologist 04:57, 18 February 2011 (UTC)

CSD?

IMO, an article such as Ottawa District Badminton Association (ODBA), with that many decent references, should not be deleted via CSD, but should go through AfD if you feel it doesn't meet the guidelines. To be fair, I didn't look closely at the references, feel free to disagree with me if I've missed something.--SPhilbrickT 14:40, 19 February 2011 (UTC)

Where was the vandalism?It was a personal comment like others have put on his webpage.
