Happy Holidays! Terry Foote (talk) 16:02, 17 December 2018 (UTC) P.S. Changed your I.P. address?
- Congratulations, you just made your first acceptable edit on your acquaintance Deborah Copaken's article. However, did you try to slip in some Stilton_cheese trivia during a jaunt to the Boston area? Tsk tsk tsk. The game continues - happy editing. Terry Foote (talk) 13:51, 25 February 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Wikipelli. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Ann Beattie— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Wikipelli Talk 23:23, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
- As you see, this is not personal as you claimed. You're laying the groundwork for your permanent banning, as I've tried to tell you before. Knowing you, you'll just edit under another IP address. I have allowed every single constructive edit, but just to let you know, I will *never* stop reverting your unconstructive (a polite word for vandalism) ones. [edit]Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Duck Soup (1933 film). Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. 94rain Talk 13:26, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
Barbara Kingsolver
[edit]Please explain this rollback. I discussed the change before making it on the talk page in February to no response. It is clearly not NPOV. For example: "One reader cited her essay as an example of the 'shabby nihilism of the left'." Not only is that not neutral but it's not suitable for Wikipedia at all since it's a random person's opinion. — The King of Mars «talk» 23:51, 15 July 2019 (UTC)
- This anonymous IP address is either an employee of the "New York Times" or works in the publishing industry. This user has made a multitude of suspicious edits using at least three different IP addresses, with a number of edits similar to the one regarding Barbara Kingsolver. The recurring similarity of all the suspicious edits is extremely negative opinions and/or reviews of various novelists, journalists, or other writers. This user is apparently trying to clean up their act by creating a history of good faith edits, mostly in the form of correcting grammar or making sentences flow better. This editor does indeed do a good job of this. However, inevitably, a suspicious edit like this one will come, followed by an edit war. Ultimately, this is a suspicious editor who ultimately is using Wikipedia as a means of discrediting authors. Perhaps a block is in order, however I'll leave that one up to you if you want to pursue that. Terry Foote (talk) 15:00, 16 July 2019 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
