June 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Arjayay. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the main body of Egerton University. Generally, any relevant external links should be listed in an "External links" section at the end of the article and meet the external links guidelines. Links within the body of an article should be internal Wikilinks. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 10:31, 23 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to TVET (technical and vocational education and training). Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 10:33, 23 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, 102.220.22.31. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page TVET (technical and vocational education and training) ‎, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 10:35, 23 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did at Bachelor of Laws, you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. - Arjayay (talk) 10:34, 23 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link, as you did with this edit to Science education. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. —*Fehufangą (✉ Talk · ✎ Contribs) 06:45, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for persistently trying to use Wikipedia for promotion, continuing to do so despite messages explaining to you that doing so is unacceptable, and undeterred by a short token block. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text at the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  JBW (talk) 14:10, 3 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
