Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Kronstadt rebellion into Leon Trotsky. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 15:25, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted some of your edits[edit]

Hello, I reverted some of your edits, the reasons fro reverting the two edits were:

  • Mentioning the context an infobox portrait was taken in is not relevant. Using a wider (or un-cropped) shot later in the article which does show the context is fine though.
  • The "professional" addition seems redundant, their Olympic achievements are mentioned immediately afterwards, and if someone is described as a "fencer", it is implied that it is professional, just like calling someone a "footballer" implies that it is professional, not just a hobby.

Thanks for your edits all the same. Cheerio and happy editing! 🙂 Mako001 (C)  (T)  🇺🇦 11:37, 3 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your recommendation! I added a photo of Pozdniakova and Putin to her personal life section. I find it important to highlight Russian athletes' close connection to the state. 109.71.177.2 (talk) 11:41, 3 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

March 2024[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Annh07. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, 2023–24 FA Cup, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Annh07 (talk) 10:50, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Sumanuil. I noticed that you removed topically relevant content from 1936 Summer Olympics. However, Wikipedia is not censored. Please do not remove or censor information that directly relates to the subject of the article. If the content in question involves images, you have the option to configure Wikipedia to hide images that you may find offensive. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 04:18, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reversion of "accommodate"[edit]

I noticed you removed my correction of 'accommodate', the word is traditionally spelled with two 'M's and I wanted to figure out why this was undone. Thank you. ElizabethIsAlive (talk) | (New to Wikipedia) 01:16, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
