Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one of your recent edits has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Talk:Harry Potter, you may be blocked from editing. I've been more than patient, but Wikipedia is not the place to place to push original ideas, nor are talk pages there for general discussions about a topic.Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 18:09, 19 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Be careful who you are threatening... wikipedia has developed a threatening internal language, used to police and maintain pro-israeli and anti-palestinian pieces, which language will get it into trouble where it is applied to information being sent by an original author of a work.

The edit was not disruptive as it was an edit request, not an actual change to the wiki page. And you know this full well.

Stop icon Your recent edits could give Wikipedia contributors the impression that you may consider legal or other "off-wiki" action against them, or against Wikipedia itself. Please note that making such threats on Wikipedia is strictly prohibited under Wikipedia's policies on legal threats and civility. Users who make such threats may be blocked. If you have a dispute with the content of any page on Wikipedia, please follow the proper channels for dispute resolution. Please be sure to comment on content, not contributors, and where possible make specific suggestions for changes supported by reliable independent sources and focusing especially on verifiable errors of fact. Thank you. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 18:29, 19 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Very amusing... you must regard your online moderator status as authoritative... the text you deleted was a polite and direct response to a question which was not regarded as 'disruptive'... what an odd application of 'rule'... to leave a hanging question

And no it is not original research when the answer merely points out the book itself to be the source of these claims... a book may make a direct claim, eg if it is written in a certain style, or alludes to a certain person. This counts as a primary source.

Group behaviour is disgusting, try to understand why wikipedia is so discredited on political topics to do with Muslims these days that it will almost certainly be banned in some countries in the years to come.

You should remove your question to me, and not behave as if you have made a fantastic point about sources when you have only trolled as a moderater. It is well known that claims of ghost ownership or rival ownership were made in the early years by opportunists in America, who did not understand the autobiographical nature of the HP series, and these sources are in the news media.

Block the ip if you want, I am not posting on your wiki pages any further. Few would want to spend their time knocking their heads against a wall of western fratards. Oops, that's original research, knockturn alley being a cultural sideturn of westerners off Diagon-ally...

Oh, and in case you think I didn't answer the specific charge/question before leaving...

'Your recent edits could give Wikipedia contributors the impression that you may consider legal or other "off-wiki" action against them, or against Wikipedia itself. Please note that making such threats on Wikipedia is strictly prohibited'

No, such due warnings can only be prohibited if you close your boards to external communications, and operate a 'members only' board in entirety. That is the correct legal position. The warning to not engage in smears or slander of HP, (ie the implied claim that he is linked to israel or christianity while your pages are visible in muslim countries) in the event he proves a real person, stands. Rowling has already 'provided' the link to Cassia Shafiq, the muslim cousin of james potter.

Why are you making undos of criticism of your moderation standards? No one is seeing it (reading this deep into the talk of talk pages) but you and your fellow moderators. Idiot site.

Goodbye.

Blocked

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 3 years for making legal threats or taking legal action.
You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia while the threats stand or the legal action is unresolved.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

El_C 20:31, 19 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked for initiating a legal action. While that is your prerogative, you cannot edit Wikipedia until the legal action is resolved or you indicate that you have withdrawn your legal action. You can pursue your grievances using the legal processes of your country or using Wikipedia's internal processes, but not both at the same time. 331dot (talk) 20:34, 19 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I am obliged to your prompt response, and note, use of HP material will be removed from wikipedia in the course of this time you state once the issue is raised formally, most likely next year.

115.186.172.31 (talk) 21:02, 19 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If your legal action is against Wikipedia itself, you will want to address it to the Foundation that operates Wikipedia, see WP:NLT. Since you have decided to involve your country's legal processes, as you have the choice to do, any grievance you have will go unresolved until that process is concluded. As I said, you will be unable to edit Wikipedia until then. 331dot (talk) 21:12, 19 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
