It's clear, based on the edits that you made to various Glee-character articles, that you do not understand what "significant other" means. It's a long-term exclusive romantic relationship. The notion that Kurt Hummel and Rachel Berry were significant others is ludicrous: eventual best friends and roommates, yes; romantically involved, no.
