Welcome

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Someone using this IP address, 129.205.113.13, made test edits on the page Cascading Style Sheets which have been reverted or removed. If you did this, please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. If 129.205.113.13 is a shared IP address and you did not do this, you may wish to consider getting a username to avoid confusion with other editors and further irrelevant notices.

Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I recommend that you get a username. You do not have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! Information icon Hello, I'm Rdp060707. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Gassol—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. ----Rdp060707|talk 09:00, 17 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Gassol. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. ----Rdp060707|talk 09:05, 17 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Cameroon, you may be blocked from editing. ----Rdp060707|talk 09:13, 17 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Cameroon. You seem to be performing the same types of edits even when warned against doing so. The fact that you were issued three warnings in thirteen minutes (by the same user) is enough to lead to a block if you continue. Stop making these types of edits. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Anonymous users from this IP address have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for persistently adding unsourced or poorly sourced content.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  User:Liamyangll (talk) 10:38, 17 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address and you are an uninvolved editor with a registered account, you may continue to edit by logging in.
The IP address that you are currently using has been blocked because it is believed to be used by a peer-to-peer proxy service. These services allow users to change their IP address by proxying their browsing traffic through another user's computer. As with any open or anonymizing proxy or VPN service, these IPs may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

If you are using any service that changes your IP address, such as a proxy or VPN service, you will need to disable it in order to edit Wikipedia. Once you have disabled it, it is possible that you will still see a message stating that you are blocked. You may want to clear your browser's cache and/or cookies and refresh the page, in order to check whether you are still blocked.

If you are still seeing this message even after disabling your proxy or VPN, clearing your cache, and deleting all cookies for this website, then your IP address has been detected as a proxy and it has been blocked directly. Unlike legitimate commercial VPN services, these peer-to-peer proxy services exploit their own users' network connections to proxy traffic for other users. These services are frequently advertised as "residential VPNs" or "IP changers", and they are too numerous for us to list here. You will need to fully remove these tools from your network, and then either request to be unblocked, or wait for the block to expire.

If you have not recently used any proxy, VPN, or IP changing service, it is possibly that a previous customer who was assigned your IP address was running one of these services. More rarely, your network equipment or that of your service provider may be misconfigured or compromised by malicious software. For more information, see the WikiProject on Open Proxies.

You may appeal this block by adding the following text on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. My IP address is _______. Place any further information here. ~~~~}}. Please include the following information:

  • You must fill in the blank with your IP address for this block to be investigated. Your IP address can be determined using whatismyip.com.
  • If you have turned off, closed, or uninstalled some type of proxy or IP changing software, please say so, and specify the exact program or service involved. This may expedite your request by allowing us to verify that the proxy is no longer open.

Alternatively, if you wish to keep your IP address private you can use the unblock ticket request system.

Administrators: The IP block exemption user right should only be applied to allow users to edit using an open or anonymizing proxies in exceptional circumstances, and they should usually be directed to the functionaries team via email. If you intend to give the IPBE user right, a CheckUser needs to take a look at the account. This can be requested most easily at SPI Quick Checkuser Requests. Unblocking an IP or IP range with this template is highly discouraged without at least contacting the blocking administrator. Most proxy check tools and services will give a false negative for this type of proxy, and if you unblock it, the proxy checking bots will not automatically re-block it, even if it is still an open proxy.
