The cited source (the shrine's own website) said: "The Our Lady of Lourdes Parish was originally known as the parish of Sta. Teresita del Niño Jesus. Yet ever since, the present name in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary has been used inspite of the different title given to it by the document. This may be attributed to the transfer in 1951 of the image of Our Lady of Lourdes from the small chapel of Sta.
