Musical theatre is the correct spelling for this genre. In most English-speaking countries, "theatre" is the correct spelling for drama genres, and even American theatre professionals use this spelling. -- Ssilvers (talk) 16:46, 24 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Alan Arkin, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. In particular, do not add an Oxford comma to a list when the rest of the article does not use them.C.Fred (talk) 21:29, 5 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Death on the Nile (2022 film). There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 21:59, 5 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon An important part of the Manual of Style is a consensus that articles should continue with the style that was used as they evolved, unless there are good reasons for switching to another variation. These are usually discussed on the talk page for the article. signed, Willondon (talk) 22:09, 5 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
