Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, such as the ones you made to Jumaane Williams. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:

Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a certain number of days and made a certain number of edits.

If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (180.150.114.24) is used to identify you instead.

I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).

Happy editing! JesseRafe (talk) 13:02, 30 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Thong (clothing), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Chaheel Riens (talk) 13:15, 8 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Hello, I'm Majavah. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Jimmy McShane, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Majavah (t/c) 13:41, 8 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Thong (clothing). Chaheel Riens (talk) 17:11, 9 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Anonymous users from this IP address have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for persistently making disruptive edits.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Ad Orientem (talk) 19:05, 9 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address and you are an uninvolved editor with a registered account, you may continue to edit by logging in.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Thong (clothing); that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
Back from your block and right back to the same unsourced edit. Either source the edit or leave it alone. Meters (talk) 19:47, 11 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I will not leave it alone. You leave it alone.180.150.114.24 (talk) 07:33, 12 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Since you are blocked, you have no choice but to leave it alone. Meters (talk) 00:13, 13 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
One day you might be blocked too. Besides, I know lots of people on Wikipedia and they can help. Therefore, I won't be leaving it alone.180.150.114.24 (talk) 08:47, 14 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I've blocked you for 48 hours for continuing to add unsourced content on release of your block. PhilKnight (talk) 20:16, 11 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

And blocked two weeks this time, since IP started again after the two day block. Meters (talk) 20:23, 14 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
IP, the cited sources do not mention India, If you want to add India then provide a reliable source. Meters (talk) 20:39, 14 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did on Jimmy McShane. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. FDW777 (talk) 08:22, 5 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit to Estermann

[edit]

Hello. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person (Estermann), but that you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! ‐‐1997kB (talk) 08:09, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
