Why was this changed? I am outraged. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.246.5.66 (talk)

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
I don't see how my changes could be considered vandalism, was a pig not a casualty of the Pig War (1859)? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.246.5.66 (talk)

Can anyone explain to me how my edits were in anyway disruptive? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.246.5.66 (talk)
I used a standard template to post the above message. It can be viewed as disruptive when you revert changes, especially repeatedly, without discussing the matter on the appropriate talkpage. It would be best if you engaged Tom at Talk:Pig War (1859). Some talkpage guidance here: Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines. As a rule, it's better for you and easier for everyone if you create an account -- see links in the italicized part of my above template post. Eric talk 16:17, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I now see that this issue has already come up on that talkpage, as is often the case in such disagreements. So you may want to post here: Talk:Pig_War_(1859)#Casualties. Eric talk 16:21, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
