August 2010[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Jewish history. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If the edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Please use the article's talk page to pursue resolution by seeking consensus for your proposed edits, rather than re-reverting. Hertz1888 (talk) 07:24, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Though not yet in violation of the rule, you have removed the same material three times in a period of a few hours. It would be best to leave it at that. Hertz1888 (talk) 07:30, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the only warning that you will receive regarding your disruptive edits, such as this edit you made to Jewish history. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing without further notice. Christina Silverman (talk) 04:54, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a short time for your disruption caused by edit warring and violation of the three-revert rule at Jewish history. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 04:57, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

blocking was politically motivated. Talk section had already questioned inclusion of biblical material, deleting sections was simply cleaning up the article

Decline reason:

We don't like edit warring; you were sufficiently warned to stop; you did not stop; you were blocked. That's just how it works; the contents of your edits, in this case, are not relevant. --jpgordon::==( o ) 05:18, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

request review by someone who isn't a member of the "wikipedia jews" set. The section deleted was extremely low quality. Those reversing the edits are the ones who need to be banned immediately to preserve any semblance of integrity on the part of Wikipedia

Decline reason:

Declining due to antisemitic remark. You can't just request that someone who isn't jewish responds to your request. If you want to be unblocked, you need to indicate that you understand that you did, in fact, break the rules regarding edit warring, and you also need to make clear how you will behave differently in the future to avoid breaking these rules. You left a message at Talk:Jewish history and I responded. The appropriate next step is to continue the discussion, not to go back and delete the material yet again. Keep it up and you'll be blocked again.

Edit-warring[edit]

Please see WP:ANEW#User:220.236.209.191 reported by User:Malik Shabazz (Result: ). — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 03:05, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours to prevent further disruption caused by your engagement in an edit war at Jewish history. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|your reason here}}.

Per WP:AN3#User:220.236.209.191 reported by User:Malik Shabazz (Result: 3 days). You have continued to revert war on the same article where you were previously blocked. You're not doing anyone a favor by continuing to edit Wikipedia if you're unwilling to follow our policies. EdJohnston (talk) 03:43, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
