Hello! I noticed your contributions to Lean-to and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to Lean-to, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history, as well as helping prevent edit conflicts. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it.

The Show preview button is right next to the Publish changes button and below the edit summary field.

It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Douglas Santana (talkcontribs) 09:01, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Thank you for the welcome.

First, there is no preview button when working in mobile view. Perhaps you could suggest one be added. It would help a lot, on both sides of the equation.

Second, yes, I did make one faulty edit. It happens. You will note that I seek to make few changes per edit. Not to clog up new changes review but to avoid mass reverts by other editors. (by seeking to limit the number of changes they could object to to a minimum per edit). This frequently involves new changes reviewers (lazily mass revert multiple edits when they object to just one single change).

The aim is to reduce conflict, not increase the burden on reviewers. Thank you. 2601:196:180:DC0:D0F2:1901:CA10:B174 (talk) 09:14, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
