Per consensus at the schools' project we don't add pictures of alumni to high school articles. Please stop doing this Meters (talk) 07:33, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
What's the rationale there? We add them to other lists. Where can I read about this. Adding pictures is by consensus at wp quite common. 2604:2000:E010:1100:6876:6DDC:C7FA:E4FF (talk) 07:43, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
As I said, it's the consensus by the schools' project (the group that deals with high school articles) that we not include such pictures. In fact the conclusion of the discussions was that existing the guideline already prohibited such pictures so it was not necessary to add it to the guidelines; however, so many attempts to add alumni pictures were made that eventually it was added. See Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Schools/Article_advice/Archive_2#Pictures_in_alumni_sections and Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Schools/Article_advice/Archive_3#Pictures_in_alumni_sections. Since one of the participants was the same /64 IPv6 as you, it appears possible that you are already aware of this, so I'm not going to go into any more detail or spend the time to find the addition to the guideline.
