August 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Tgeorgescu. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Old Testament seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Jesus is not a character from the Old Testament. tgeorgescu (talk) 18:28, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi I am Rafael.
So from what I understood, a passage from the Old Testament cannot become an entry on the Old Testament Page according to you?
Also, you write:
"Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view".
Under Christian Theology subtitle?
I do not accept it.
Why don't you start a "Neuter Theology" subtitle and unleash your opinions there? 31.221.70.82 (talk) 19:47, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It is Christian theology, just not of the gullible or fundamentalist sort. Bible scholars who are Christians are under no obligation to kowtow to traditional dogma, but often call a spade a spade. tgeorgescu (talk) 20:00, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
How can you insist on "However, no view of the Messiah as based on the Old Testament predicted a Messiah who would suffer and die for the sins of all people" after I just provided you with one view?
If you say "NO" and "ONE" exists then "NO" is a lie.
And you know who the father of lies is?
You can mock my argument with the words you prefer, but bear these ones in mind:
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Matthew 24:35
The world is clearly going through spiritual warfare. I pray that you will pick the right side. 31.221.70.82 (talk) 20:34, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
As I said, it is not everybody else against Christians, it is everybody else against fundamentalists and fanatics. tgeorgescu (talk) 20:37, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Old Testament. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. tgeorgescu (talk) 19:05, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Old Testament shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. tgeorgescu (talk) 19:06, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia. Please stop removing reliably sourced content, and replacing it with unsourced commentary, presumably of your own original research. signed, Willondon (talk) 23:29, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
