Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Jon Snow (character) does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! — TAnthonyTalk 00:51, 4 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Small text in infoboxes

[edit]

In case you haven't seen the edit summaries from editors reverting your changes to Jon Snow (character), per MOS:ACCESS#Text: Avoid using smaller font sizes in elements that already use a smaller font size, such as infoboxes, navboxes and reference sections. Thanks. — TAnthonyTalk 16:47, 4 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm LakesideMiners. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Jon Snow (character)— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. . Per above, using {{small}} in infoboxes is deprecated by the MOS. Please stop restoring it to articles. Thanks.— TAnthonyTalk 17:21, 5 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
PLEASE STOP restoring {{small}} templates inside infoboxes, as you have just done today here and here after repeated explanations/warnings. If this continues, you will be blocked from editing. Thanks.— TAnthonyTalk 18:54, 6 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
