Why did you block me? For a week? I was blocked on September 6, 2019, at 10:14 pm local time, or 2:14 am Wikipedia time on the 7th, for a week. Why not just for 24 hours, punishment enough for what I did not even do! I maybe did something minor worth 24-48 hours, the 48h hour passing in around 6 hours.

@Yamla, can my block be reduced if not me being unblocked? 1st off, how did they find a link between me and User: Gale5050, and 2nd, how come 2 months is necessary? Couldn’t it be like 1 day, 1 week, 2 weeks or even a month? Why 2 months?

Request reason:

Why does my block have to necessarily be 2 months? Why can’t it end in 1 month or 2 weeks? I get why I am blocked, but why is it so long, 47.16.99.72 (talk) 21:12, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 21:16, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I understand, but it is too long. 47.16.99.72 (talk) 21:12, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There's a blocked user operating from this IP address. That user is not welcome here. Not ever. Not now, not in 2 months. Not in a year, not even if the IP block expires. Not unless and until the block on their original account is lifted. Really, the two month block here is likely too short and should be extended. --Yamla (talk) 21:17, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Remove my rangeblock

Request reason:

I understand why I am blocked for 2 months-because this IP was used by Gale5050. But, a normal CheckUser block is usually 24 hours, or a day, not sixty. But why am I also rangeblock by User: Favonian? Now, my block won’t end at 3:38 on April 27, 2020 but rather 5:51 on March 13, 2021! 1:02 PM Eastern Time, User: 47.16.99.72

Decline reason:

Now it is six months.
