[edit]Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Danneel Ackles, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 02:39, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

[edit]Hello, I'm GinaJay. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Defending Jacob, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. GinaJay (talk) 05:38, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
Hello. Why do I need sources if I am a person who has read a book and seen a TV series? These differences were provided based on basic logic, not everything needs to be copied from the Internet. 05:00, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
- I get your point, but simply comparing the novel and the adaptation yourself would be Original Research, which is not allowed on Wikipedia. For more info on this, see WP:NOR.
If you do find a reliable source for the differences, keep in mind that it was the TV show that was adapted from the book, not the other way around. So these differences, if at all mentioned, should be given in the article for the TV show, not the novel. Don't go by the Thirteen Reasons Why article - it's a start class article, not a GA or FA.
Also, as per MOS:TVAVOID, merely giving a list of differences is strongly discouraged. The point is not whether the differences are "simple" or "significant". It's that these differences must be placed under the appropriate sections in the context of reasons for, effect of, or reaction to, the changes - not simply given as a list of differences itself. This is reiterated in WP:FILMDIFF.
One last thing: I highly recommend you start a Wikipedia account - it hardly takes a minute but it allows you to edit much more constructively. Regards, GinaJay (talk) 11:59, 5 August 2020 (UTC)

Hello, I'm XLinkBot. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Joseph Morgan (actor) have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links.

If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Danielle Campbell. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 04:13, 25 April 2021 (UTC)
