May 2018[edit]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Rockhurst High School, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. He's notable and his attendance is sourced in his article. That is sufficient. Stop removing him. Meters (talk) 17:27, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Rockhurst High School. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Meters (talk) 02:45, 15 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. The thread is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:64.151.43.134 reported by User:Meters (Result: ). Thank you. Meters (talk) 20:08, 15 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The article has now been protected because of this. I have copied the ref showing Nathan Scheelhaase's attendance at Rockhurst High School from his article into the school article, so there is no question of his attendance. Again, as I said on the article's talk page, it does not matter that he never played pro ball. All alumni who are notable enough to have a wikipedia article (Scheelhaase does) and for whom there are reliable source showing attendance for even for one day (Scheelhaase did) are to be listed. See WP:ALUMNI.
The admin who protected the article asked who the "we" is that is mentioned in edit summaries by you and user:Kchawklet. Meters (talk) 04:14, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
