Hello, I'm Adakiko. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Thirza Cuthand, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 03:02, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

appreciate your comment - wikipedia policy is inherently transphobic. Not allowing pronoun changes for living trans people who haven't yet had an opportunity to have an interview or article written about them by a third party is shameful. 67.71.247.212 (talk) 03:32, 10 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No. The problem is you did not wp:cite a wp:reliable source (RS) as to which pronouns Cuthand uses. Wikipedia has quite a bit of policy on the matter: Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Biography#Gender identity. An essay: Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Gender identity. Potentially contentious content added to wp:biographies of living persons requires a reliable source. See help:referencing for beginners. You might consider adding a section to talk:Thirza Cuthand listing and discussing the sources. People do change their pronouns, sometimes often. So, use the latest, please.
BTW: trans-phobics often go through trans articles changing pronouns to gender assignments. Pronoun changes are therefore viewed with suspicion. I think if you look through biographies of trans people, you will likely find most use the subject's preferred pronoun. Cheers Adakiko (talk)
