All the characters in the series help with something regarding the Elrics that makes them all worth to be protagonists according to what you said. Arakawa herself and reviewers mention that the series' protagonists are the Elrics brothers with Mustang only being the lead in jokes of the series' title.Tintor2 (talk) 00:29, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
