March 2023[edit]
Hello, I'm Millahnna. I noticed that you recently removed content from Polyface Farm without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. - I provided an explanation. The page is on Polyface Farm, its approach to "little o" organic farming and the methods it uses in pursuit of its "non barcode" approach to having a full circle ecosystem on its acreage. The section I deleted was someone complaining that the owner didn't make people wear masks outdoors and when asked about it provided an answer. It's on the same level as someone updating Yul Brynner's page with a story about him being rude once in a grocery store. It doesn't belong, isn't relevant, and is just some random spite post. 69.143.120.165 (talk) 03:18, 28 March 2023 (UTC)
- That section is relevant as it provides additional information about the farm. It is well cited and it was covered in at least one major news paper MagentaCat1 (talk) 22:40, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
- That article you've specifically cited is about the farmer being quoted as saying he wants to get coronavirus already (2020). You can put that on his page if you'd like. This page is about Polyface Farm, not him. If Polyface Farm put a public release saying they wished coronoavirus on the local population, then sure, put that here. But to the best of everyone's knowledge, such a public release doesn't exist. This is just someone being petty and wanting to smack talk Polyface Farm, and by leaving this here you're being complicit. 69.143.120.165 (talk) 17:32, 1 April 2023 (UTC)
