Information icon Hello, I'm DocFreeman24. I noticed that you recently removed content from Tombstone (film) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Hello friend. I notice you removed the character descriptions from Tombstone again. I'm the editor that wrote them originally. I only saw the movie once, and I remember arriving at the article to do a quick read and try to get more info on the characters, and I thought to myself, "some basic descriptions would be helpful here for piecing everything together". I admit, they could use some improvement, those were meant to be a first draft and I was hoping other people would improve them.

Anyway, if you want to keep pushing for their deletion, that might work. Up to other editors if they want to revert you or not. But I'd also like to bring up the idea of maybe keeping them and re-wording them to make them better and to address the issues you mentioned in your edit summary. You said the descriptions were "childish", failed to mention somebody's last name, didn't differentiate the two villains enough, and focused too much on who was dating whom. Those are all things that could easily be fixed by somebody knowledgeable about the film such as yourself. –Novem Linguae (talk) 12:26, 18 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
