Welcome[edit]

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, such as the one you made to Buenos Aires. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but I highly recommend that you create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (76.91.189.163) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on this page. Again, welcome! January 2010[edit]

Please do not add content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Juan José Castelli. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. -- Alexf(talk) 12:39, 22 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I see you are having an edit war with another editor over categories in many articles. If you disagree with some issues, such as categories on Italian descent being supported by the text or not, please discuss it in the article's talk page first, instead of making mass edits as you have done recently. If you cannot come to an agreement, please consider mediating or dispute resolution. Edit warring does not help the encyclopedia and should it continue, one or both parties may be blocked. Thank you for your attention to the matter. -- Alexf(talk) 12:47, 22 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

ANI[edit]

Please see Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#User:76.91.189.163_reported_at_AIV.2C_but_somebody_neds_to_block_them_quickly. Woogee (talk) 05:59, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a short time to prevent further disruption caused by your engagement in an edit war. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

Please do discuss changes before reverting other editors. Materialscientist (talk) 06:10, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring about surname categories; please respond[edit]

You've been mentioned at WP:AN3#User:Hubschrauber729 reported by User:Sherlock4000 (Result: Waiting for feedback). It is proposed to restrict you from adding or removing any Italian surname categories for 90 days. Your response is invited at the AN3 thread mentioned.
