[edit]Please do not delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at User talk:77.224.217.220. Such edits are disruptive, and may appear to other editors to be vandalism. - Double warnings. Sorry for that. 78.177.109.210 (talk) 19:55, 3 February 2023 (UTC)
- Just so you know, the warning templates are supposed to be substituted and not transcluded. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 20:02, 3 February 2023 (UTC)

. Ponyobons mots 20:10, 3 February 2023 (UTC)- If this is a shared IP address and you are an uninvolved editor with a registered account, you may continue to edit by logging in.
Howdy
[edit]I dropped a note on the talk page of the admin who blocked you as it was clear to me you were trying to help with the IP vandal where you were changing my warning templates. In the future, changing the templates is probably not the way to go but I wanted you to know that I see that you were also on recent changes patrol and had solid edits. Hopefully they'll double check your contributions and see that the talk page thing was the only problem. Millahnna (talk) 20:27, 3 February 2023 (UTC)
- I unfortunately got blocked along with that vandal. For an old block done on a deleted account. Ponyo then reverted ALL of my edits (including this talk page) for no reason. He does not realize that IPs aren't always vandals. That block is months-old now, the one which referenced WP:CIR. I wasn't evading blocks. WP:BANREVERT said this: This does not mean that edits must be reverted just because they were made by a banned editor (changes that are obviously helpful, such as fixing typos or undoing vandalism, can be allowed to stand). But Ponyo reverted the edits because they were made by a banned editor. He bons mots. What a m***n. At that time, I just was trolling (I will not do that again). 78.177.109.210 (talk) 20:32, 3 February 2023 (UTC)
- I've explained this to you repeatedly, your edits are being reverted because you are banned from editing this project under any account or IP unless the block on your master account (which is not deleted - I have no idea why you continue to state that it is) is lifted. Either successfully appeal your original block or find another hobby. Competence was an issue with your original account and continues to be an issue as you continue to link to essays that have nothing to do with your situation at all.-- Ponyobons mots 20:40, 3 February 2023 (UTC)
- Well I chatted with them briefly and they gave me their reasoning but beyond that I don't really have that kind of influence. I've been around a long time but very off and on and I intentionally stay away from some of the more complex editing situations. I've never been an admin; I don't have access to their tools or the info they know. It sounds like your best bet is to ride out the ban and go through the appeals process. If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.
- You are free to review the standard offer.-- Ponyobons mots 20:42, 3 February 2023 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
