Welcome![edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, such as the ones you made to Alison Sudol. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:

Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a certain number of days and made a certain number of edits.

If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (79.169.210.135) is used to identify you instead.

I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).

August 2018[edit]

Stop icon Do not use multiple IP addresses to vandalize Wikipedia, like you did at Oscar Isaac. Such attempts to avoid detection or circumvent the blocking policy will not succeed. You are welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia but your recent edits have been reverted or removed. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Binksternet (talk) 23:50, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Domhnall Gleeson. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 00:09, 24 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

September 2018[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at La La Land (film), you may be blocked from editing. Peaceray (talk) 05:01, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (film) does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on The Theory of Everything (2014 film). This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. SummerPhDv2.0 14:05, 7 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Dewritech. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Logan (2017 film) have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Thanks. Dewritech (talk) 14:25, 15 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Black Mirror Emmy Awards[edit]

Hi, and thanks for your recent edits to List of awards and nominations received by Black Mirror. However, I'm afraid I've had to revert them. There's been a consensus (established here and here) to list all the Emmys together for the page, as "Primetime" and non-Primetime are not meaningful distinctions—they apply more to the ceremonies than the scope or prestige of the awards. The most pertinent case for Black Mirror is the Outstanding Television Movie category, which we would have to list in both the Primetime and non-Primetime categories for 2017 and 2018, respectively. If you think this consensus is wrong, you can initiate a discussion at Talk:List of awards and nominations received by Black Mirror. If you have any questions for me, you can ask them on my talk page and you can ask general questions at the Teahouse. Thanks! Bilorv(c)(talk) 17:46, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries. Again.[edit]

You have made 700 edits in the past 2 months, and you have not added a single edit summary. As most of of your edits edits appear to minor, needless changes, it would help if you added a summary to explain the reasoning for them. They are less likely to be reverted then. You have already been notified of this, it would also help if you were a little more cooperative, or at least communicative. - wolf 02:06, 27 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the edit on Canadians‎, but an edit summary would have been helpful. Walter Görlitz (talk) 23:38, 18 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
