[edit]

Hello, I'm I dream of horses. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Slowthai, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. I dream of horses (Contribs) (Talk) 19:27, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ok I'll be happy to add a source if necessary, though the incident is already referenced elsewhere on the page, and I assume cited, would it be completely necessary? Thanksย :) 79.69.129.68 (talk) 19:29, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Donโ€™t put it in the lead sentence. Please read WP:BLPCRIME. 22:10, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

regardless accusing me of vandalism is dishonest, no? 79.69.129.68 (talk) 22:12, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
ive just read it and the language is ambiguous. 'Accusations, investigations and arrests do not amount to a conviction.' this is clear guidance that you shouldnt lead with accusations/investigations/arrests as a means of suggesting that someone is guilty of a crime - however what makes Slowthai's case particularly relevant is that he has been charged, which is significantly more serious than what is highlighted in what you have linked - especially considering the infrequent nature that alleged rapists are able to be charged in the united kingdom. thats not to suggest that this can be used to imply he's guilty - he is innocent until proven otherwise - however it suggests that these allegations are significant enough that they can be included in the lead sentence. 79.69.129.68 (talk) 22:19, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

kindly explain to me how my editing of the page to reflect real world circumstances which i have fully cited is vandalism. you can disagree with it all you want but lets not pretend that me doing this constitutes vandalism, and your labelling it as such is quite dishonest and clearly an attempt to have my IP blocked lol. 79.69.129.68 (talk) 22:16, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you read what Illusion Flame was trying to tell you, this doesn't belong in the lead paragraph, per WP:CRIMEBIO. It belongs later in the article in a more appropriate place. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 22:26, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
ill repeat what i wrote to illusion frame:

clearly it being in the first sentence is contentious. i will move it 79.69.129.68 (talk) 22:28, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
