Re-direct seems to be wrong

[edit]

The re-direct for Charlotte Proudman to -> Online Shaming seems to be malicious, and wrong, as the page re-directed to has no connection to "Charlotte Proudman".

I've requested that the redirecting page is deleted (which may take awhile). For future reference, it is best to post concerns or questions at the Teahouse or the Help Desk. It's only by coincidence I saw you wrote a message on your own talk page! Hope this helps :-) - Whisperjanes (talk) 07:42, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

MANY thanks for your prompt response. I'm first re-assured that I wasn't being stupid for raising this, and second: I will now know how to raise these things in a better way. I actually am a Wiki editor (i.e. I have a login, but was lazy not to log in). Sorry. Thank you for your prompt action and reply.

No problem! Glad to help. I was doing recent changes patrol (staying up late and Wiki editing!) so that's how I came across your message. When I looked at Charlotte Proudman, I thought it must be vandalism/malicious too, but then I realized it originally was made to redirect to a section in Online Shaming that was about Proudman -- that section doesn't exist anymore, though, so it's now a weird redirect to "Online shaming". I'm glad you caught it. Well, have a good night/day! - Whisperjanes (talk) 09:05, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
