Welcome to Wikipedia. Your recent edit on the page Shirley Ballas removed or disrupted a Wikipedia feature which provides an automatic calculation such as an age based on a birth date. Please don't do this as such edits do not appear to be constructive. Also note that automatically calculated information promotes greater accuracy and reduced maintenance of content than hard coding such information. For further information on how to properly use auto-calculation templates, please see the appropriate documentation (for example, age calculation templates). If you would like to experiment further, please use the sandbox instead. Thank you. — Moriwen (talk) 16:09, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Dates of birth[edit]

Please do not change the format of date of births. Templates are used to ensure that ages don't need to be continually checked and updated. Suonii180 (talk) 21:53, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

November 2023[edit]

Information icon Please don't change the format of dates, as you did to Richard Arnold (presenter). As a general rule, if an article has evolved using predominantly one format, the dates should be left in the format they were originally written in, unless there are reasons for changing it based on strong national ties to the topic. Please also note that Wikipedia does not use ordinal suffixes (e.g., st, nd, th), articles, or leading zeros on dates.

For more information about how dates should be written on Wikipedia, please see this page.

If you have any questions about this, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Enjoy your time on Wikipedia. Thank you. ~ Chip🐺 13:39, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
