If you read the citation, there is no typo. The club made up a ceremonial position for Zanetti , which the ITALIAN LANGUAGE website of the club use the ENGLISH SPELLING vice-president. presidente in the context of Italian company is chairman of the board of directors, but Zanetti don't ever a sitting member of the board.
