Actually what I wrote isn't quite correct per WP:ENGVAR. I guess it is a matter of preference for the article. Still most articles I have read that are not about England, we use the American spellings, so I'm not surprised your changes were reverted. I'm not sure what typically happens if there is disagreement over which to use for a specific article. If someone knows, I'd love to hear it. --David Tornheim (talk) 06:11, 17 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
