Information icon Hello, I'm Waxworker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Martin Clunes, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Waxworker (talk) 13:56, 21 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Felida97. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Andriy Yarmolenko, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Felida97 (talk) 16:33, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You do not need to specify the genders of young children of people with Wikipedia articles, as you did on Victor Lindelöf. WP:BLP values privacy and there is no reason to specify it, it's not important for the context. TylerBurden (talk) 17:06, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did with this edit to Alana Haim. Thank you. Felida97 (talk) 17:22, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unreferenced controversial biographical content to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did with this edit to Matthew Bates. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you. Felida97 (talk) 17:22, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

WP:BLP doesn't mention gender at all. 91.216.181.12 (talk) 13:51, 22 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
There is no reason for you to go around and specify genders of young (non-notable) children. Respect privacy of people, the cited reference makes no mention of their gender at all either. TylerBurden (talk) 16:09, 22 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory or otherwise controversial content into an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Peaches Golding. (Continued from User talk:91.216.181.130):

In the discussion you mention “Date of birth violations”. Squared.Circle.Boxing removed a birthdate I added to Emma Walmsley saying WP:BLPPRIVACY. You’re becoming disruptive. The link says “Wikipedia includes full names and dates of birth that have been widely published by reliable sources” but I didn’t make an issue of it. The relevant policy is in fact WP:BLPPRIMARY – again, the editor not having been directed to the relevant policy but instead to a policy which suggests the edit to have been in order I consider the block unfair.

Best, @Ponyo: 91.216.181.12 (talk) 15:09, 25 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Claiming ignorance of BLPPRIMARY isn't much of an argument seeing as, after being made aware of it, you still didn't care. Your contributions are littered with reverted edits, edits that were reverted for being unsourced. Other volunteers shouldn't be expected to complete your inadequate edits. That's just laziness.

I also find this quite concerning; the source makes no mention of her having a son, husband, sibling or that she was born between 19 May 1961 - 18 May 1962. All that, from reading a headline? Really? That brings into question other BLP related edits such as this. Did you do the same as with the Deborah Ross edit? – 2.O.Boxing 16:38, 25 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Well deserved block, the person editing from these IP's has shown little regard for WP:BLP or regard for privacy of individuals, seemingly adding as much unnecessary personal information as possible to articles. TylerBurden (talk) 17:40, 25 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
