Talk:Elton John[edit]

Thank you. - FlightTime (open channel) 13:14, 28 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. --92.15.148.117 (talk) 13:15, 28 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you again, that should be brought back. - FlightTime (open channel) 13:30, 28 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome. It has now been brought back, thus no longer making it look as though you're disagreeing with yourself. --92.15.148.117 (talk) 13:33, 28 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not too worried about how I come off, (in an initial comment) I can always explain later, but thank for watching out. Cheers, - FlightTime (open channel) 13:38, 28 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I see, well no worries regardless since I have restored my original comment. Cheers. --92.15.148.117 (talk) 13:41, 28 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

December 2022[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Elton John, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - FlightTime (open channel) 13:17, 28 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I removed it because at present, without the comment I made which I removed previously, it looks like you're disagreeing with yourself. --92.15.148.117 (talk) 13:20, 28 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
There is no justification (outside of vandalism) for removing someone else's talkpage post. Period. - FlightTime (open channel) 13:23, 28 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I understand that, as I said the only reason I removed it is because without my comment (which I removed previously), it looks like you're going from "I tend to agree" to "I disagree". --92.15.148.117 (talk) 13:24, 28 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
OK, fine, whatever, just leave talk page post of othres' alone. Cheers, - FlightTime (open channel) 13:26, 28 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I do leave talk page posts of others alone, so no need for concern. I also added my original comment back which has prevented it looking as though you're disagreeing with yourself. Cheers. --92.15.148.117 (talk) 13:29, 28 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Gordon Brown into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. /wiae /tlk 23:56, 5 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
