Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Archbishop Wood Catholic High School, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Meters (talk) 23:04, 17 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not insert fringe or undue weight content into articles, as you did to Archbishop Wood Catholic High School. An article should not give undue weight to any aspects of the subject but should strive to treat each aspect with a weight appropriate to its significance to the subject. Please use the article's talk page to discuss the material and its appropriate weight within the article. Way too much emphasis on the event. A recent event that has very little to do with the school. It does not warrant major coverage in the article, certainly not the first section and most of the lead.

  1. Unspecified sources claim that the assailants were from the school. We need better refs than a news report that does not even identify its sources.
  2. It was not a school event, and it was not on school property.
  3. The people involved are not currently students of the school. They (or some of them) may be former students, but so what. Meters (talk) 23:04, 17 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Archbishop Wood HS Alumni Gay Hate Crime''' requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.), but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Please stop. Articles on Wikipedia do not give fringe material equal weight to majority viewpoints; content in articles are given representation in proportion to their prominence. If you continue in this manner, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. I've removed this again. Take it to the article's talk page if you want to discuss it. Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Archbishop Wood Catholic High School. Enough already. The article on the event was speedied, and then deleted at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Archbishop Wood HS Alumni Gay Hate Crime'''. You have already been pointed to WP:undue,WP:BLPCRIME and other applicable policies. If the event isn't worthy of an article yet, the event certainly does not make the people involved notable themselves. See also WP:SINGLEEVENT Meters (talk) 22:03, 23 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Repost of User:AA4455121[edit]

Information icon A tag has been placed on User:AA4455121 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of recreating the page. Thank you.
