Hi There, my mistake, I assumed if I wanted to write about something, in this case Activ, it was the user name I should register under. If this is wrong, could you please unblock me so that I can change user name for an appropriate one?

If you are an employee or representative of Activ Foundation, then you shouldn't edit articles about them under any name - for more details please see our Conflict of Interest guide. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 07:41, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

I am indeed an employee of Activ. I wasn’t aware that I was in a conflict of interest situation as I just wanted to inform about Activ and not "promote" as such. The information I included were objective facts about Activ. They can be verified on Activ's website and various government websites as well: e.g http://www.health.wa.gov.au/services/detail.cfm?Unit_ID=882. One additional mistake was probably that instead of writing an article, the information I included was taken from the organisation's website. Again a lack of experience in Wikipedia usage… but this was done with the intention to give correct and accurate details. I do understand why the page was blocked. I wouldn’t like this mistake to affect any other Wikipedia user, who may want to edit a page about Activ, or to affect Activ itself because a blocked user account has the Foundation name as username. I will not edit anything about Activ on any page or under any different user name. If possible, I would like to have this user account deleted as it is wrong? If not, could it at least be unblocked? I could then change the account details. Thank you.Activ Foundation (talk) 05:44, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

Users are unable to change the name of their account; please advise us as to what new name you want. Also, if you are unblocked, what articles do you plan on editing? east718 // talk // email // 06:59, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

{{unblock|I do not plan to edit any page at this stage. It seems obvious to me that I'm not ready to edit anything on Wikipedia at the moment. I'm not comfortable with its system yet. In the future, I think I could correct translations. I'm fluent in French and English. The username I would like to change for is: Roas.
