A tag has been placed on Kyle adkins, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Goodnightmush 16:45, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in this edit to Great Smoky Mountains. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Thanks. J.delanoygabsadds 21:29, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links, as you did with this edit to Tennessee. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. J.delanoygabsadds 21:52, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Tennessee. Will (talk) 22:18, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Cities and towns of the smoky mountains, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Don't remove the speedy deletion tag when you place a hangon tag, as you did at Cities and towns of the smoky mountains.--Fabrictramp | talk to me 20:44, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Signing talk pages

[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! §hep¡Talk to me! 22:02, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Spam

This is the final warning that you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. The next time you insert advertising or a spam link, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia.   Will Beback  talk  05:11, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I wrote most of the articles about the smoky mountains, including all the ones you edited and threaten to block me for  ? Thesmokymountaindirectory.com is the birth place of all these entries .

From what I can tell, you uploaded two articles: American Indians and settlers of the Smoky Mountains and Cities and towns of the Smoky Mountains. Thank you for doing that. However both articles have serious issues that have never been addressed. The two most important are that they overlap with existing, better developed articles like Great Smoky Mountains, and that they do not cite any sources. I'm also concerned that some text appears to have been copied from these websites:[1][2]. The copying appears to be so serious that, now that I see it, both article need to be deleted immediately. Regarding the website, the relevant guideline is WP:EL. The website does not appear to have significant information and it looks like a one-person enterprise. That doesn't mean that it doesn't have value - it just doesn't meet the criteria for inclusion. You've been told so several times, but you've apparently ignored those previous messages.   Will Beback  talk  22:17, 16 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kyle D. Adkins requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
