Welcome!

[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Greetings. I have reverted your last set of edits for a number of reasons:

  1. You removed the {{more footnotes}} maintenance template without addressing the underlying concern. I placed it there because a couple of sections had no references to provide verification. Please do not remove it until these citations are provided.
  2. Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that details the stylistic conventions used in articles. One such convention is the use of a person's surname after the initial mention of their name. Using her first name repeatedly does not match the formal tone that is expected.
  3. Footnotes should always be placed after punctuation marks, not before.
  4. You removed a number of citation templates I inserted, which are meant to format citations in a consistent manner. Using citation templates also assist the automated scripts, or "bots", that patrol articles looking for broken links. Bots can sometimes find archived copies of pages used as citations.

I would recommend that you review some of the links in the welcome message above before editing the article any further. This should help you become familiar with a few of Wikipedia's basic principles. Good luck. --Drm310 (talk) 13:12, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Username

[edit]

I also noticed that your username, "Adhpmusic", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it appears to represent A Diamond Heart Production, which is a business. Wikipedia accounts can only represent a single individual, and accounts cannot be shared or even imply shared use. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. --Drm310 (talk) 13:16, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest

[edit]

I must also advise you against editing the Vanessa Silberman article. If you are this person, work for her or otherwise represent her interests, you are in a conflict of interest position. While not prohibited, editing subjects with which you are connected is discouraged. Please consult Wikipedia's plain and simple conflict of interest guide for more information. Thank you. --Drm310 (talk) 13:29, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Conflict of interest noticeboard discussion

[edit]

Information icon This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard regarding a possible conflict of interest incident in which you may be involved. Thank you. Brianhe (talk) 12:34, 20 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Thank you.
