Flight Design

[edit]

We have had a number of company representatives adding inappropriate articles, text and photos about this company recently and since you seem to have a great interest in this company it might be a good idea to be familiar with WP:COI. - Ahunt (talk) 12:29, 31 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, thanks for your comments. i'm sorry i don't got it actually, similar company's like mine? i'm interesting in small aviation and i know some information about such company. i believed i can edd here some information...Agentblank (talk) 13:10, 31 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, we have just had quite a number of aviation company PR representatives trying to use Wikipedia to promote their products recently, especially from Flight Design. The guideline I indicated addresses that problem, as Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a promo website. - Ahunt (talk) 14:23, 31 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Just to let you know that as per Wikipedia:WikiProject_Aircraft/page_content#Aircraft_specifications aircraft type articles have only one set of specs, so I removed your duplicate specs for the MC. Also in looking at your edit history and your high degree of interest in editing Flight Design articles and nothing else, and the nature of the things you are adding , plus the fact that we have have a number of company reps trying to use Wikipedia to advance company sales, I really think you should have a careful read of WP:COI. If you are connected to this company, like the last number of editors were, than I would encourage you to declare your connection here on your user talk page and instead of editing articles where there is a conflict of interest, post what you would like to see on the talk page of the article in question so that other editors can assess your request and see if it should be incorporated or not. - Ahunt (talk) 13:04, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Mc model.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
