Help me[edit]

Thanks,

I could use some help.

I created a page about the author Jon Evans. One of the edits to that page added details about another Jon Evans (a musician). To keep them separate, I created a new page for Jon Evans (author) and moved everything there.

I now realize I did the move incorrectly--all of the details about contributions to that page are now on the original page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jon_Evans) while they should be connected to the new page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jon_Evans_%28author%29).

Can someone help me fix this? Thanks,

Sorry for the long response time. I was in the shower. I can fix it for you.—WAvegetarian(talk) 17:28, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This will take a while and I have some other things that I'm doing at the moment, but it will get done in the next hour or so.—WAvegetarian(talk) 17:37, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, I think everything is set, though the history looks weird since a bunch of edits were made after the info fork. The key thing is that all contributions that are in the current version on the correct person are represented in the associated history. Jon Evans (musician) needs to be cleaned up into a proper article, but otherwise I think it's good to go.—WAvegetarian(talk) 18:18, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Flavio Trevisan, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Flavio Trevisan. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Friendly notice[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

This is just a DS notice which is required when an editor starts editing articles that are subject to discretionary sanctions. Happy editing! Atsme Talk 📧 01:14, 25 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
