[edit]Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. - Hi MrOllie,
- Sure I will take a note of it. But trying to replace dead links with appropriate content links.
- Regards, Ahsanhs1982 (talk) 16:06, 16 August 2024 (UTC)
- I appreciate that is what you were trying to do. But it is better to leave dead links alone than to replace them with spam. MrOllie (talk) 16:17, 16 August 2024 (UTC)
- Please do make me understand is giving a news source is spam from a credible sitss. Please do guide how to cite it if you feel that was the case. Ahsanhs1982 (talk) 16:22, 16 August 2024 (UTC)
- Expertini is obvious spam. It is not a 'credible' site. I cannot guide you because there is no way to cite it. MrOllie (talk) 16:28, 16 August 2024 (UTC)
- I wonder why is taken into that way. When its been over 10+ years acting a news site partner with other prominent market players.
- Obviously it is not spam neither it has any history of that. A credible site and other references quoted also most valuable of it. Ahsanhs1982 (talk) 16:57, 16 August 2024 (UTC)
- Reposting press releases is not being a 'news site partner'. At any rate, you have your warning. If more links to expertini find their way into Wikipedia you can expect that the involved accounts will be blocked and/or the site will be placed onto Wikipedia's spam blacklist. MrOllie (talk) 16:59, 16 August 2024 (UTC)
- Please don't take me wrong. Being a beginner its important for me.
- I want to learn from you
- 1. The reposting PR News sites are not valuable to Wiki
- 2. It can only be valuable if that news site in this case Expertini. First reach to a position of being self news portal and approved by Google like channel for its content as a news that can be taken into consideration by Wiki?
- Please do correct me and guide me. To really help and learn this important aspects of Wiki policy. Ahsanhs1982 (talk) 17:10, 16 August 2024 (UTC)
- But also forget to mention that Expertini is partner site of PRNewswire and BusinessWire. The News come from directly to Expertini via their data feed. Partner to them from over 5+ years. Content posted by them directly by feed. Ahsanhs1982 (talk) 17:12, 16 August 2024 (UTC)
