Edits to WCRB
[edit]There was no FCC Rule requiring an average modulation percentage exceeding 85 percent. It was that the peak modulation had to exceed 85 percent "frequently." The engineer in charge of the Radio District, Nathan Hallenstien, interpreted this to mean that long quiet passages, such as would naturally exist in much concert music, would not be allowed. He required that the gain be ridden so that the peaks of even quiet passages exceed 85 percent. As the Chief Engineer of WCRQ and assistant Chief Engineer of WCRB, I obtained the waivers from the FCC to make Nathan go away. Please revert this edit. Also, the other edit was not necessary because 1330 kHz is a frequency. It looks like you just wanted to change something. ---LymanSchool 14:46, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

- How is propaganda more correct than information when they are all opinions. Propaganda is a more inflammatory and offensive word but information is more neutral. Americans would say that our media spreads information and our adversaries would say that we spread propaganda, but information is still MUCH more opinion-neutral. I will leave your article alone.
