Kim Cook moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Kim Cook, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe, and right now there are none. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 12:54, 6 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I noticed your question on Onel5969's talk page and decided to reply here. First, the subject needs significant coverage on reliable sources. For example, source #1, Archives.Wayne.edu, only contains a passing mention of Kim Cook and therefore does not count a source towards passing GNG, unfortunately. If there are more reliable sources with significant coverage, however, like source #4, Cornell, then they can count towards passing GNG! You can also find additional information on the notice above. And, as such, per WP:42, it states Articles generally require significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the topic. Hopefully this explains things well. Thanks!
