Hello, AlbagubrathMegrahi, and thank you for contributing to Wikipedia! Wikipedia has a policy on what usernames editors can use. Unfortunately, concerns have been raised that your username may be incompatible with that policy. You can contribute to the discussion about it here. Alternatively, if you agree that your username may be problematic and are willing to change it, it is possible for you to keep your present contributions history under a new name. Simply request a new name here following the guidelines on that page, rather than creating a whole new account. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Simon Dodd (talk • contribs) 14:27, 28 August 2009
- Hello, AlbagubrathMegrahi. This is just to notify you that the request for comment on your username has now been closed, and the result of that discussion was no action taken. This only means that a small subset of the community has not agreed to disallow your username.
- A bit of unsolicited advice, if I may: If you wish to continue editing under this username, I would suggest you diversify your edits to more subjects that are not related to Ireland, Northern Ireland, or The Troubles, and when you do edit within those three subjects, pay particular care to being respectful and civil to other editors. If you do this, no doubt you will be well-respected in return and encounter fewer problems. -kotra (talk) 23:11, 14 September 2009 (UTC)

Attacks on you
Firstly, welcome to Wikipedia. I see that User:Simon Dodd has had a go at you. My advice would be to ignore him. He is a right wing blogger and self confessed nerd from Indiana and many of his Wikipedia interventions show little knowledge of the real world. Jezhotwells (talk) 20:08, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
Thanks jezhotwells. I intend to do just that. Im off on vacation for a week away from the internet tommorow and will leave him to entertain himself. AlbagubrathMegrahi (talk) 20:48, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
