Hello Qantasplanes[edit]

Why resort to sockpuppetry? The last Mayday edit done by this account resembles something written several months ago by another account.William 01:02, 21 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have no idea what your talking about? And what with Qantasplanes??? Alexandarkotevski (talk) 08:04, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Hd logo.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Hd logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 03:58, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I just thought I'd let you know that "Singapore's Vegas" and "World's Tallest TV Tower" were both produced by a New Zealand company in association with National Geographic recently (2010-2011) and were possibly premiered in our region of the world (Australia/New Zealand). The other episodes that are airing on 7mate at the moment have previously been shown elsewhere around the world and are already listed in the article (e.g. "Beijing Water Cube" and "Shanghai Super Tower" and next week's episode "China's Ultimate Port"). With the Beijing Water Cube I assumed good faith until I saw it was definitely an episode made in 2008. This article shows that these three China-related episodes were aired close to three years ago in New Zealand making it impossible for them to be new for the 2011 season. Hopefully this will explain why I have reverted some of your recent edits to the MegaStructures articles. Thanks for reading and have a nice night. Themeparkgc  Talk  08:31, 26 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I understand. Probably 7mate is behind you so as they might be new to me they arent to you. Sorry about that, I didn't realize. Alexandarkotevski (talk) 21:18, 26 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well I'm an Australian, in Australia and I've been enjoying the 7mate broadcast as they are all new to me. I just did a bit a research on Google and found that they had previously been aired elsewhere. Themeparkgc  Talk  02:46, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Virgin Australia.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Virgin Australia.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 08:05, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, Mayday (Season 7)[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Mayday (Season 7). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - List of Mayday episodes. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at List of Mayday episodes - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Qantasplanes (Talk with me) 09:22, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

July 2011[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Melbourne Airport. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. Bidgee (talk) 06:09, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Great_Migrations.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Great_Migrations.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Melesse (talk) 05:13, 26 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
