Conflict of interest at Coveo

[edit]

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Coveo, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam); and,
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for businesses. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you. --ZimZalaBim talk 04:37, 12 January 2009 (UTC)w[reply]

[edit]

^I'm trying to change the logo for the Coveo organization page. I looked around in WikiMedia and try to find help about it but it seems I don't get how do I simply replace the logo on the page. Thanks. Alexandrepelletier (talk) 23:58, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}}**I have tried here (http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=File:Coveo_logo.png&oldid=17561996) but I don't get what I need to do. Plus I think because I used the same file name it kind of pop new warning. Lastly, I guess I did selected the right Licence and I cannot find the right place to upload a Non-Free license. I'm totally new to Wikipedia, so detail info would be greatly appreciated.

{{helpme}}:::* Thanks for all your help. But still I don't really understand what I need to do. The more I get info, the more I get confuse so far. Keep in mind I have never edited a Wiki page before... So all concept about Common or other terms are way too vague for me. And all I really want to acheive here is to replace the current logo on the Coveo page by the new one.

You are supposed to upload the new version of the file here. Don't change the destination filename. It already has fair use rationale so no need to add another one. –Capricorn42 (talk) 05:36, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
